Hotspotz Size 10 Seed Beads

Hotspotz Size 10 Seed Beads (often coded SBX- ), whilst appearing to be similar in size, are not the same as Japanese Size 9 Seed Beads. These Seed Beads are not manufactured in Japan and do not lend themselves for mass substitution into Olaf or Stenboden Patterns.

However, notwithstanding the above statement, they can be used in some instances in Olaf and Stenboden patterns - primarily in 'flatwork' (doilies and the like) but cannot generally be used for beadwork around the shapes or forms used without requiring modification of the patterns.
